The Princeton Prize in Race Relations - $1000 scholarship Opportunity (application due by Jan. 31, 2010)

SCV CAREER CENTRAL It provides students and educators with a tool to access partnerships with Santa Clarita Valley businesses and community organizations for the purpose of work-based learning opportunities. Students, educators, businesspeople, and community organizations are encouraged to sign up for job shadowing, internships, mentoring, guest speaking, and/or hosting field trips. CLASS RANK/G.P.A. - Class rank is based upon the student’s performance in all credit subjects, grades 9-12. All students and all subjects are included. All courses are based on a 4.0 scale, with the exception of honors and advanced placement courses, which are on a 5.0 scale. Rank is weighted and cumulative. Students with a 3.75 cumulative G.P.A. at the end of the 7 th semester are honored at graduation as Honors Scholars.
