Spotlight Awards is offering high school seniors a chance to showcase their performing arts talents. Candidates will have the opportunity to receive up to $6000 in awards. Application deadline is Oct. 3. For more details contact Ms. Robinson in the counseling office.
NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development of Future Educators is offering up to $15,000 annually to seniors who are interested in pursuing a teaching career. Candidates should excel academically and demonstrate a desire for serving others. Nominees will be invited to attend an open house at NYU in October where they will learn about featured Education Programs and hear from current students, faculty, and administration about why there is a high demand for teachers and why they choose to teach.
