Week 2

Aug 18 - Safety Rules and Regulations
Aug 19 - Safety Test, Donation Letters sent home (all student must return a letter either with a donation or with a signature to prove the parents have received the letter).

Aug 26 - Shark Quest Video, notes to be turned in on Friday with the other assignments
Aug 27 - Chapter 1 Review 1-23 on page 31 and compete the vocabulary review from the workbook, page 12

Oct 7 - Chapter 8 Make Your Own Crossword. You have to use all 13 of the words from Chapter 8 in your crossword. Any word that you use in addition to the Chapter 8 words (from chapters 1, 2 and 7) you will receive 1 extra credit point per word. You have to follow all crossword rules just like before.
Oct 8 - Living With Bears

Week 10
Oct 12 - Begin the Photosynthesis Pyramid Activity. Each student is partnered with another and will complete a total of 4 sides of the pyramid. 1 side is of the figure on page 209 and the other 3 sides are of scientists found on the timeline on page 204-205. We will assemble them tomorrow.
Oct 13 - Finish and assemble pyramids. Begin Chapter 8-3 Notes.
Oct 14 - Finish Chapter 8-3 Notes, Section Assessment Questions, Pg 207, 1-5 and Work on the Chapter 8 Review Handout
Oct 15 - Complete Chapter 8 Review Handout and/or complete notes for Leopards for extra credit.
