Tuesday, November 9, 2009-Take a look at the To Kill a Mockingbird reading schedule in the Homework section. We will be strictly following this schedule as we read. DO NOT wait to read. I have no problem with you reading ahead. Study Guide questions will be expected to be completed as we complete a section of reading.

Thursday, August 13, 2009-Welcome to Saugus High Schoo! You are starting off on a truly memorable journey through your teenage years. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you through this years challenges and together working to achieve your many goals. This website is an important part of the class and I expect students to visit it regularly. It will be a big help if you let it. Students should have regular access to the internet. The library is regularly available for computer use before, during, and after school. Please plan on regular visits if internet is not regularly available at home.
I will be referring the class to this site on a daily basis. Students should check homework and other links to help them continue to be a success in the class. Some work will require students to go to this site and complete assignments online. I will provide due dates that should give students ample time to complete the assignments. Please keep this in mind and not delay assignments. Internet outages or other computer problems will not be acceptable excuses for failing to complete assignments. This site is accessable in the library during regular hours.
INB Progress
Thursday, August 13, 2009-The end of each week is a good time to check progress of the INB. This INB grade will only be entered after a unit is completed, so that is the best way to access progress right now. If there are assignments missing, verify if they need a stamp and can be made up. It is better to take care of the INB now than right before it is due.
