Homework not completed due to an excused absent must be made up within a two day period after returning to class.
Homework must be completed before class according to the following format:
A student is allowed to take the make-up test only if the student is absent the day of the test and the absence is excused. A student must take the test the day he returns to class. For example if the test is 80 questions, it will be worth 160 points. There are no retakes on tests or quizzes.
No make-up work or tests will be allowed for truant, cut or uncleared absences.
PARTICIPATION
You will earn five (5) points of participation a week. They will be added to the grade at the end of each grading period. For example: talking, eating, being tardy, not bringing materials, using cell phones, listening to music or using any other device in class will make you lose those participation points. Once the five points are lost, the five step form will be used for the rest of the week if needed. You will not be informed when you are losing points. Just know that if you are not actively participating, you will lose the points.
