Class Description:
This is a one-year course designed for college-bound students who desire to develop an understanding and appreciation of the human body. Students learn the structures, functions and regulation of human body systems.

Course Syllabus

Please note that this class will require a large degree of memorization. Students are asked to spend a MINIMUM of 30 minutes each evening reviewing, practicing and studying material learned in class in order to accommodate the memorization required.

Class Information:

Our next chapter will cover the skeletal system. It is a very in-depth unit where students will learn the name of all 208 bones in the body and be able to identify their major characteristics and landmarks. We will also review microscopic bone structure and the structure on long bones. It is a very challenging but rewarding unit!
