Political Cartoon

Follow this outline when doing your Political Cartoon each week. To receive full credit it must be done according to this outline with each question being answered.

1. Name the country or state that the event you are covering takes place.

2. Name at least 2 countries/states that border this region.

3. Give a detailed explanation of what the artist is trying to tell us through his/her cartoon.

a. Be sure to use specific examples when explaining the event and explain the event thoroughly. Give the history of the event the artist is covering along with the significance it has on the world and on the U.S. (2-4 Paragraphs)

4. Is the cartoonist portraying this person or event in a positive or negative way?

a. Use specific examples from the cartoon to show how the artist is relaying his/her opinion.
