WELCOME TO TEAM THUNDER ENGLISH
This website was created to help parents and students keep track of class assignments; however, it is NOT a substitute for the student's responsibility of writing assignments in the BINDER REMINDER. The Homework and Plan Ahead Sections written on the board IN CLASS WILL BE THE MOST UP-TO-DATE INFORMATION because of possible unexpected changes such as a fire drill, the need to spend more time on a complex subject, an activity that takes longer than expected, etc. If a student is absent, it would be wise to contact a study buddy, see the teacher, and check the handout notebook in class.
READER RESPONSE LOG (RRL) STORY QUIZ & READING ASSIGNMENTS: The tentative schedule of quiz dates with story reading assignments is linked to this page and also located in the INB. Shortly after the quiz, a written RRL will be assigned to do either in class or as homework. The RRL instruction sheets are located in the INB and should be carefully followed. Be sure to have a five line summary, a one chunk theme paragraph and at least one personal response paragraph.
INB TABLE OF CONTENTS: The Table of Contents for each section will be completed in class as papers are done or returned. A copy of the up-to-date Table of Contents is in a folder in the classroom and can also be found at the bottom of the Homework Page on this website.
