Class Description:
This course will approach marketing with an integrated set of tasks and functions, built on a sold set of foundations. Marketing functions are not presented as independent activities, but as a set of skills and knowledge that is combined with economics, finance, and career planning to create strategic plans. Students learn about the various functions of marketing, but also discover how each function fits with the others. The course includes instruction on beginning through advanced levels of Marketing. Integrated throughout the course are career preparation standards, which include communication, critical thinking, interpersonal, problem solving, technology, and other employment skills.
