Class Description:
Business Analysis is designed to prepare students to work in a real business environment by learning about the nature of the business, its products and services, management and structure, and learning the daily operations; supply and demand; taxation; the stock market; and international transactions. Students will understand information processing concepts necessary to function in a rapidly changing technological, global society. They will demonstrate competency by performing multiple tasks required to effectively analyze data and produce useable information in a business environment. The course includes instruction on beginning through advanced levels of computer applications. Integrated throughout the course are career preparation standards, which include communication, critical thinking, interpersonal, problem solving, technology, and other employment skills.
