Welcome to Biology. This is a challenging college prep course
for high ability students who are planning to go to a four year
university after graduation from Valencia High School. Students
will learn to be organized, self-directed problem solving learners
who can think critically and creatively. Parents are an
important part of this process and will be asked to monitor
their son or daughter's work on a daily basis and prepare them for
quizzes and tests.
After 39 years of teaching high school biology, it still brings me a
great deal of pleasure and satisfaction. I look forward to a
successful academic year with all of you.
