We are a diverse group of creative people with individualized, artistic styles. Our group has made a commitment to help others by designing and teaching activities to younger and/or special needs students. N.A.H.S. provides opportunities for student work to be appreciated and acknowledged publicly by creating shows within the business community. Learning about contemporary and traditional artists and other cultures is an important part of our program. We invite college representatives to visit and share their programs to help us understand different career paths in art, to critique our personal artwork and help us better prepare for college. Most importantly, we provide camraderie and share our personal growth as developing artists.

This year we had a mask-making booth and participated in the street painting at the Newhall Festival. We volunteered at Fright Night, attended a city council meeting, and had a Christmas party at our treasurer, Nathan's house. In the past year, we created an art exhibit with the Santa Clarita Symphony, and are preparing to teach art to elementary students. We raised money to pay for models for the after school figure drawing workshop. All members and interested art students are invited to come after school on Mondays to Room 104.

We have twenty-two members this year. If you would like to know more about our club, please see Ms Pharis in Room 104 or any of our officers and members. We look forward to helping you, and welcome a visit!
