Class Description:

Earth Science

This one-year course is designed to integrate the principles related to the natural environment with emphasis placed in the areas of geology, oceanography, the environment, earth history, meteorology, and astronomy. Demonstrations and/or lab experiences are to be an integral part of instruction. This course meets, and in some areas exceeds, the California Science content standards for Earth Science as well as supporting the English and Mathematics content standards.
