Class Description:

Welcome to Chemistry AB.

In this class, you will learn about chemical science and perform laboratory investigations to extend learning of chemistry. Chemistry is a rigorous, one-year long college-preparatory science class which is designed to meet the “D” requirements of the University of California. Chemistry deals with the composition of matter and the changes that matter undergoes. The goal of Chemistry is to provide students with core foundation in understanding of the principles of chemistry, to help develop critical thinking skill to solve problems, and to relate their learning to their lives for better understanding of their environment.
