cards for $2.00. If you are able to locate them elsewhere for less by all means
buy them there. Office Depot indicated that if they are out of blue cards you
can ask and they will order some for you and have them ready within a day or
two! I

Competition: Young Author's Showcase,
sponsored by the Santa Clarita Valley International Program - 20 bonus points
for your entry, accompanied by a stamped addressed envelope to submit it, due
to Mrs. H. by April 9, 2012. Pick up an entry form from Mrs. Kautiainen at
the front desk in the Valencia High School Office. (Potential $100.00 prize
for the winner of the competition) Link to full list including the

There are not enough extra credit points to move your grade more than about 2-3% over the semester. You cannot pass without doing the work! Complete late work: Yes, I accept late work BUT 1
day late = 1/2 credit. Work that is
more than 1 day late is ¼ of the original credit, but will only be accepted if

Vocabulary Project Handout which
includes the pronunciation keys. Copy
of the PowerPoint explaining how to do the Vocabulary Project. Friday
vocabulary tests that weren't completed during class must be made up by the
following Thursday after school. With
few exceptions I am available before and after school, during first brunch
and lunch and during period seven if you have an open period then.
